  • Outside appearance, is crane neat and clean with equipment numbers easily read from a distance?

  • Are overhead and drive / work lights functional?

  • Are strobes on machine functioning?

  • Is drive alarm functioning in both directions?

  • If travelling, did crane operator have required escort?

  • Is vehicle equipped with a properly secured fire extinguisher?

  • Is fire extinguisher labeled with monthly inspection form signed and up to date?

  • Did Crane Operator keep his Groundman in view and follow hand signals as directed?

  • Does operator perform lifts at company standard of 2 minutes per unit or faster?
