Safety and Best Practices

  • Follows PACE Guidelines for taking attendance and keeping students information confidential.PACE staff follows attendance procedures, such as coding students (A, TU,ETC) .Keeps track of and monitors students in extra-curricular activities and schools' absence list. Parents are being contacted before 3:15 pm when student is absent

Site Coordinator Responsibilites

  • Communicates effectively and efficiently with school staff, PACE staff and supervisors.

  • Prepares the staff and curriculum or the daily activities prior to students arrival.

  • Cross trained the PACE staff and delegates duties.

  • Displays initiative to learn/improve skills related to PACE program. Ask for help from PS, colleagues or campus personnel (computer tech, observe a Master Teacher, etc.).

  • Attends all meetings, training and picks up supplies on time.

  • SC takes attendance on a weekly basis in Star Students

  • New students are sent to contact person via email to be enrolled, within 2 -3 days of the student coming to the program

  • SC communicates effectively via email with contact person( Ex. Responds emails within 24hr, sensitive documentation is kept confidential at all times, Kronos emails are being reply in a timely manner, etc)

  • Have the newsletter and 6th weeks at a glance been sent to the contact person ( For current six weeks)
