145.A.25 (a)

  • 145.A.25(a). Has the organisation provided facilities that are appropriate for all planned work providing protection from the weather elements?

  • 145.A.25 (a). Are specialised workshops and bays segregated as appropriate to ensure that enviromental and work area contamination is unlikely to occur?

  • 145.A.25 (a) 1. For base maintenance of aircraft are hangars both available and large enough to accommodate aircraft on planned maintenance?

145.A.25 (b)

  • 145.A.25 (b). Has the organisation provided office accommodation for the management of the planned work referred to in paragraph (a)?

  • 145.A.25 (b). Has the organisation provided office accommodation for the certifying staff so that they can carry out their designated tasks in a manner that contributes to good aircraft maintenance standards?

  • Note: It is acceptable to combine any or all of the office accommodation requiements into one office subject to the staff having sufficient room to carry out the assigned tasks.

  • 145.A.25 (c) 1. Is the temperature maintained such that personnel can carry out required tasks without undue discomfort?

  • 145.A.25 (c) 2. Are dust and any other airborne contamination kept to a minimum and not permitted to reach a level in the work area where visible aircraft/component surface contamination is evident?

  • Note: Where dust/other airbourne contamination results in visible surface contamination, all susceptible systems must be sealed until acceptable conditions are re-established.

  • 145.A.25 (c) Is lighting such that as to ensure each inspection and maintenance task can be carried out in an effective manner?

  • 145.A.25 (c) 4. Are noise levels such that personnel are not distracted from carrying out inspection tasks?

  • 145.A.25 (c) 4. Where excessive noise sources can not be controlled are personnel provided with the necessary personal equipment to stop excessive noise causing a distraction during inspection tasks?

  • 145.A.25 (c) 5. Where a particular maintenance task requires the application of specific environmental conditions different to those foregoing, are such conditions observed?

  • 145.A.25 (c) 6. For line maintenance does the organisation provide for the suspension of maintenance inspection and tasks when the working environment deteriorates to an unacceptable level in respect of temperature, moisture, hail, ice, snow, wind, light, dust/other airborne contamination?
