Kitchen

ROOM CONDITION GUIDANCE. • Remove all items • Remove all items from cupboards, draws and work surfaces • Take all appliances with you (unless your property has PFP issued white goods) • Clean all cupboards and draws inside and out • Clean the room, including removing cobwebs and wiping skirting boards • Wipe down work surfaces and sink • Replace any cracked or missing tiles and ensure they are clean of grease and dirt • Clean the area behind your cooker • Remove all items from the walls and fill remaining holes • Remove any non-standard items, such a lighting, fires or fans • Replace any damaged work surfaces, draws or doors • Ensure internal doors are not damaged and have correct door furniture. Extra locks should be removed. • Remove any child safety catches on cupboards and doors • Ensure window keys are returned • Room should be left in good decorative order • Sockets and light switches should be free from paint and damage • The sink should have a plug and chain fitted

  • GARDEN CONDITION GUIDANCE.

    • Leave the garden/s well maintained and free from any items
    • Do not leave any items on driveways or side passages
    • Leave keys to outbuildings, gate locks or shed locks
    • Waste (general and recycling) bins should be left at the property and be empty of all rubbish
    • Empty all items from outbuildings, sweep through
    • Remove any external graffiti
    • Sheds can be left providing they are structural sound. Shed should be cleared and swept through
    • If you are having the local authority collect items from the property for disposal this should be arranged and completed prior to your tenancy end date

  • The Lettings and Marketing Manager has visited you and discussed specific details about your property, please ensure any repairs outlined have been completed and that you return the property in an acceptable standard, if you fail to do this you will incur a recharge cost, these costs are substantially higher than if you complete the required works yourself.

    A visual inspection has been carried out on this property, there may further or unseen damage that has not been found during this inspection, which may result in further recharges once the tenancy has ended. Details of any works required by the customer prior to their move date have been discussed.
