  • Introduce yourself via TEXT to the Dream Makers’ Director of Operations, Dustin Colie at (910) 523-7669 (*Please include your full name, NPN, your resident state, Gmail email and whose team you’re on) once NPN is received and license is printable on NIPR. You will then receive a call and email from Dustin <br>(nasb.dcolie@gmail.com) to begin the registration and contracting process with NASB.<br>NOTE: For contracting, you will need a personal voided check or bank letter with a bank representative’s signature for your deposits.

  • Once contracted with NASB, within 2-3 days you will receive your login/temporary password to the NASB website at www.nasbnation.com, where you may watch the videos there.

  • Order business cards via www.vistaprint.com, or another avenue you may desire. Refer to the Agents folder in Google Drive for an example of what your business card should look like, including the NASB logo and your title of Licensed Producer, Licensed Agent or Field Underwriter. Brand your card with a professional headshot.

  • Complete all SuranceBay emails (carrier contracts) via a desktop PC or laptop (these do not work on a mobile device). This provides the ability to be appointed with:<br>1. United of Omaha<br>2. Americo Financial<br>3. Great Western Life<br>4. Transamerica

  • Within 2-14 days of completing the Surancebay contracts, you will begin receiving carrier approval emails that will provide you with your Agent ID numbers (you will have an individual writing number with each carrier). Place these Agent IDs in your iPad or iPhone Notes app for easy access.

  • Within 3-5 business days after completing the SuranceBay emails, you can log onto knowledge.limra.com to complete the free Anti-Money Laundering course, as well as any required carrier-specific material.

  • -You will be able to login using your NPN# for your username and your last name lowercase for your password.

  • You will be prompted to change your password upon your first login.

  • ***IMPORTANT*** Email a screenshot of your AML completion to Dustin Colie (nasb.dcolie@gmail.com), as well as your username (NPN) and password (lowercase last name).

  • Purchase E&O Coverage:<br>-This is optional, but highly recommended!<br>-You may obtain Errors & Omissions Coverage (E&O)<br>This insurance will cover you up to $1,000,000 in case there is ever a lawsuit.<br>-This will allow you to contract with additional carriers. Email the mock applications to your direct manager for him or her to<br>scrub.<br>***DAY 3: Post-Sale Admin, Back Office, Numbers Spreadsheets<br>NOTE: Ashley will provide you with the NASB Master Note, which serves as a<br>place to add carrier IDs, usernames, passwords, Goalcast videos and quotes for<br>daily motivation and to drive momentum into your daily routine. Please save to<br>Notes on your phone.

  • Schedule 2-3 Ride-Alongs<br><br>Field training includes:<br>***DAY 1: This is a full day in the field watching your direct manager do presentations.<br>What to Expect: Dress Business Casual, Roleplaying, Note Taking (bring iPad), Pack a Lunch. Your manager will bring you a NASB lanyard and Delivery Notices.<br><br>***DAY 2: Time to shine! It’s your turn to take the lead on door approaches and Steps 1-4 of the presentation. Your manager will give you feedback after each and continue roleplaying with you.<br><br>***DAY 3: Optional, only if necessary

  • Research and study Medicare, Medicaid, SSI, SHIP, and the Active Living Benefits

  • Your manager will provide you with roughly 20 complimentary leads in an area they select. <br>a. Work alone in the field for 5 consecutive business days.<br>b. Conduct an in & up call in every presentation.<br>c. Stay in daily communication via text, email, or phone call with your direct<br>manager for assistance and feedback.<br>d. Focus on these top 4 carriers & plans: Americo Eagle, United of Omaha, Aetna,<br>and Royal Neighbors.<br>NOTE: Once the Surancebay carrier contracts are completed, you are cleared to<br>write business in the field. Simply indicate “Pending NASB” in the place of your<br>writing number until your writing numbers are received.

  • After 5 days working alone in the field, you will have another ride-along with your<br>manager for them to observe and inspect for any necessary improvements that need to be made with your door approach, presentation, and iPad & business tracking organization.

  • Text a screenshot of your activity tracker nightly to your direct coach for the first 90 days.

  • Contact each carrier once provided with an Agent ID to have their tech support go over back office to better understand how to navigate your pending business, commissions, and placed/issued business.
