Hazard chemical symbols clearly labelled on all containers?

Material safety data sheets current and displayed near first aid station? Check both first aid stations

Grounds / pathways in good condition

Access ways / walkways unobstructed

Good housekeeping, are waste bins routinely emptied

Material and cylinders stacked appropriately?

Ventilation / lighting appropriate?

No excessive noise levels in the area?

Area free of visible waste / material?

Are free from insects and animals?

Safety signs visible and properly positioned

Safety tags used appropriately

Fire extinguishers available, clearly labelled and tagged

List of current first aiders displayed and up to date?<br>

List of emergency wardens displayed and up to date?

Is appropriate PPE being worn in the area?

Manual handling appropriate?

Tools / Equipment being used correctly and in a safe manner?

PTW in use where applicable

Are Speed restrictions adhered to? Trucks and Forklifts

Distribution boards weatherproof

Earth leakage devices available
