Leadership

Standards

  • You conduct a review of the canteen standards weekly and the RAG is a reflection of the colleague facilities.

  • All your team are wearing the correct uniform and are presentable to the highest standards. All Departments will be reviewed.

  • CRITICAL - You can articulate how you have coached the team on standards and inspections and they deliver WGLL.

People

  • You have a weekly Service Huddle with your team.

  • The stores holidays are to target and the holiday booking process is completed 100% including bank holidays.

  • The store team understand the heat map and Ideal Schedules information and they are working on it with the deputy leading it.

  • CRITICAL - The store has completed all the required Inspiring Great Performance Reviews as per the plan.

  • CRITICAL - We have NO out of process SYA issues and you can describe the top 3 (worst) attendance colleagues for the store.

Training & Development

  • You have a succession plan and your plan shows future growth of our team. You help the team deliver one options candidate or team leader back fill per dept.

  • You have a 4 week development plan for skill or leadership aspects for the leadership team. They can articulate this plan and the part they play in the bigger picture of our business. Focus on more the WHY not the WHAT.

  • CRITICAL - The store and leaderships legal and department training is completely up to date and signed off.

Key Operational Accountabilities -ALL CRITICALL

  • You can articulate how the store is performing for Shrink loss for last week. You have a lockdown plan and it's focus is on capability.

  • The weekly absence sign off has been completed and you can stand over delivering a figure under budget.

  • There no next steps outstanding from any Audit that don't have a deadline for completion within 3 weeks and and you can articulate your performance on any remaining Audits. The group Audit RAG has been completed and returned.

  • The people and payroll audit has been reviewed and there are no issues with our right to work.
