  • Patrolling is a fundamental task of the security personnel primary duties. It is essential to ensure the clients assets and boundaries are regularly checked to ensure they are secure. Patrol plans are detailed within the project / assignment instructions.

    Each site is equipped with RFID patrolling system to provide the following:-

    1. Validation of patrols – Protects the company and staff against issues that may arise when security issues present them self despite a manned guarding present.
    2. Lone working – Reduces lone working risk of staff member.
    3. Time and attendance – Prevents disputes for time and attendance

    The company enforce the following:-

    1. All staff must conduct patrols in line with project / assignment instructions.
    2. All staff must clock on and off in line with project / assignment instructions
    3. If a full patrol is missed the security personnel will not be paid for the hour on site
    4. If two consecutive patrols are missed; this may result in immediate dismissal in line with the Companies Disciplinary Policy.
    5. All patrol devices must be inspected on arrival / handover to determine its working condition and report any defects / damage. (please refer to item 10)
    6. If the patrol device is not working the office/supervisor/manager must be contacted immediately.
    7. If any checkpoints have been removed or are in accessible the office / supervisor / manager must be contacted immediately.
    8. The patrol device must be stored within the security case and never left unattended
    9. The patrol device must not be taken off site.
    10. Any damage to the device may result in counter charges to the staff member. It is the staff member’s responsibility whilst on duty.
