Pre-Start Hoist Check

Have you checked the capacity of the hoist versus the weight of the vehicle?

Have you famialrised yourself with the operating instructions?

Are safety devices operational?

Do locks and latches move freely & can be fully engaged?

Are rubber pads attached & in good condition on all load points?

Are safety guards fitted, secure & operational?

Are hydraulic connections and hoses secured & not leaking?

Have you checked for frayed cables, damage to wiring & electrical switches?

Is work area free of grease, oil, corrosive substances, slip & trip hazards?

Have you check floor for stress cracks near anchor bolts?

Have you checked swing arm restraints?

Have you tested all hoist controls and functions?

Have you reported faulty equipment to management?
