  • Eye protection ( Full face shield when grinding)

  • Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan in place e.g. Rescue Plan

  • Harnesses, lanyards & other lifting devices in test, tagged and fitted for use.

  • Ladders inspected, tied off and fit for use.

  • Electrical equipment in test, tagged & fit for use.

  • Protruding objects covered

  • Open penetrations covered

  • Fire Extinguishers available & tested.

  • Housekeeping ( Area tidy and free of rubbish etc.)

  • Other Hazards Identified and Discussed / Employee Feedback: Working from height off scaffold, there is potential of dropping objects between the scaffold and slab, so need to be weary of workers below
