Site Risk Assessment

  • Is there any damage existing utility near to work area which may affect our job?

  • All workers , equipment and tools are within barricades?

  • Are there appropriate safety arrangements in compliance with local municipality Guildlines?

  • Are there any environmental issues on site that affect the operatives? Extreme weather, hazardous gases , fumes and dust, noise above acceptable limit?

  • Is there anything hazardous that the Operatives need to work with, near or dispose of? E.g. Laboratory, fuel depot, bulk chemicals, train tracks, Highway?

  • Are there any unsafe areas the Operatives must access or pass through to complete their work?

  • Does team have PPEs and tools , that are required to complete the job safely ?

  • Will Operatives be working isolated/lone working?

  • Is there adequate lighting on site whilst operatives are working?

  • Are the first and fire safety arrangements in place? To deal with emergency

  • Is gas tested before operating in confined space?

  • End of day all debris removed from site to ensure proper Housekeeping?

  • End of Day, if site not closed, Is site properly guarded with barricades along with safety/warning signs, flash lights etc.

  • End of Day all equipment, extra material & Tools properly stored in designated storage area?
