  • Are water bodies within/adjoining the site free of any visible sediment plumes, oil / chemicals

  • Are all stockpiles, chemical / fuel storage, wash down / disinfection areas located at least 50m from waterways within /adjoining the site?

Contaminated Land / Acid Sulphate Soils

  • Have any suspected areas of contamination land been investigated and managed?

Nuisance and Amenity

  • Are noise / vibration / dust levels limited to the minimum practical level?

  • Have all vehicles , plant and equipment been serviced and maintained to minimise noise and other emissions

  • Are all loads being transported to / from site being covered?

  • Is a watering truck / water supply readily available to control dust as required?

  • Are site compounds kept tidy?

  • Has any sediment tracked onto public roads been cleaned up appropriately

Waste Management

  • Are sufficient waste / recycling bins available on site and regularly emptied?

  • Are wastes being stored and disposed of correctly (e.g. Recyclables in recycling bins, food waste bins sealed, regulated waste tracked)?

  • Are waste minimisation strategies being applied?

Chemicals and Fuels

  • Are bulk chemicals/ fuels stored in bounded areas?

  • Is a register and current SDS readily available for all chemicals / fuels stored or used on site?

  • Are spill kits readily available at all locations being used for bulk storage or use of chemicals / fuels and stocked with sufficient / suitable materials?

  • Have all leaks / spills been controlled and contamination remidiated

Resource Use and Management

  • Has all construction water been sourced from sources other than natural water bodies and town drinking water supplies( e.g. Sediment basins, mercy led water supplies)?

  • Has electricity usage and fuel consumption been minimised as far as practicable?
