Maintenance Procedures

Clean and Inspect Roll-Up Door:

Clean sprockets, chain drive and door track

Inspect barrel assembly, sprockets, chain drive, and door tracks for broken or damaged parts

Check for broken end locks and proper side clearance of door curtain. Replace broken end locks before operating door to prevent jamming.

Lubricate Roll-Up Door

Lubricate gear, chains, shafts, and guides. Do not use too much lubricant

Operational Test Roll-Up Door:

Remove tags/locks per site safety procedures

Operate door and check for alignment or binding during opening/closing cycle

Check for balance. Adjust with tension wheel as required

Check the self-locking mechanisms for proper operation
