  • 1. Make sure the room temperature is set to 20 C or 68 F 2. Place Bostwick on the countertop, usually with the gate on the left and the numbers reading in ascending order. 3. Level the Bostwick both lengthwise and widthwise by adjusting the screws of the Bostwick until the bubble of the level is between the two center dark lines. 4. Insert white, plastic gate in slotted groove and check temperature of sample before proceeding with test. (Product temperture should be 20 +/- 1 C or 68 +/- 1 F).
    5. The standard limits are from 9.5 - 13 cm in 30 seconds.
