Where should the fire door(s) need to be? Issue a job to have the fire door supplied and fitted and charge the landlord.

Do any of the doors have glass panels that are not safety glass?

External doors containing glass which is not safety glass should be renewed. All external doors and frames should be secure and made of either uPVC metal frame construction or a solid wood construction. Wood doors should be of a minimum of 45mm thickness. uPVC doors should possess multi point lock and hook system.
Please arrange for any internal glass panelled communal doors to have safety film fitted on both sides to prevent injury in an accident. Bedroom doors with glass panels must be fitted with fully opaque safety film for privacy, or preferably, replace for solid doors. Landlord to be charged for this. -
Are there any open fireplaces in the property?

All open fireplaces should be boarded over/ flue blocked (to prevent the temptation of lighting a fire inside) and decorated to match the room where appropriate. Arrange for this to be done at a cost to the landlord.
