Framing

  • Quality material is being used.

  • Attic openings are double framed and supported with joist hangers.

  • Drain lines have been tested at clean out.

Drywall

  • All plugs, outlets, vents are cut out and wires are undamaged.

Tape and Bed

  • Excess mud is cleaned from top of tubs.

Interior Trim

  • Quality material is being used.

  • Door swings are per plan.

  • Doors are installed level and plumb.

  • Doors close flush against the stop.

  • Doors are set with a 3/16 between a door and jamb.

  • All hinge pins are set.

  • Row of 1/4" round in all vinyl flooring areas has been installed.

  • Doors have been readjusted to ensure doors close tightly.

  • Weather stripping has been removed and placed in attic.

Cabinets

  • Quality material is being used.

  • All screws have been cut off that penetrate through the inside of the cabinet and the overhang of the countertop.

  • All shelf clips and shelves have been installed.

  • Counter overhang is supported with cabinet corbels.

Carpet

  • Quality material is being used.

  • Stairs are wrapped with no visible staples.

  • Doors are all reinstalled and door hinge pins are reset.

  • Strings are cut.

Vinyl

  • Quality material is being used.

  • Tub strips are installed and not damaged.

Countertops

  • Quality material is being used.

  • Bar overhang is 12" and supported with decorative corbels.

  • Tile is caulked to back splash and to edge material.

  • Bull nose tile is used at window corners and countertop edges.

Lockout

  • Shoe mold has been installed in vinyl areas.

  • Shelves and brackets are installed.

  • Towel bars, towel rings and toilet paper holder are installed per plan.

Electrical Trim

  • Island fixtures are centered on island and cabinet doors do not hit.

  • Exterior waterproof plates are installed and sealed with clear silicone caulk.

  • Exterior fixture gaskets are installed and sealed.

Mechanical Trim

  • All escutcheons are installed and caulked.

  • Condensation pan, primary and secondary drain lines have been water tested for leaks prior to start up.

Mechanical Start Up

  • Air flows at all registers.

Plumbing Trim

  • All fixtures are installed correctly with no leaks.

  • Faucet handle trim plates are caulked entirely around.

  • Tub faucet is caulked at tub wall.

  • All fixtures have proper water pressure.

  • Kitchen sink is caulked at tile.

  • Disposal and plug are installed and function properly.

  • Chained, inflatable test ball has been removed from clean out and clean out cap has been spray painted green.

Interior Paint

  • All casing, base, crown molding and shoe mold is caulked to walls and floors.

  • Bottom of window stool and handrail are caulked and painted.<br>

  • Weather stripping that was in the attic is now installed in the exterior doors.

  • Tape is removed from hinges and ball joints and excess paint is cleaned.

Final

  • Quality material has been used.

  • All exterior penetrations are caulked as well as light fixtures and plumbing cleanouts.

  • Hardware and hinges have no paint on them.
