This inspection report should verify that all siding materials are installed per plans, specifications and manufacturer's recommendations. If deficiencies are noted in this report, submit photo documentation of corrected deficiency to RWC Office Administrator.

  • Kick out flashing installed where required (pitched roof only)

  • Penetrations have been sealed properly.

  • Penetrations have been properly sealed and photographed.

  • Drip cap is installed over all windows and doors (including hollow metal frames).

  • Fasteners used are per plan, specification and siding manufacturer recommendations.

  • If any screws are to penetrate building wrap, a piece of butyl tape has been installed over building wrap prior to screws being installed.

  • Rain screen is being installed per manufacturer's recommendations.

  • Proper flashings are being installed at inside corners, windows, doors and at interface with dissimilar materials.

  • Installation allows for lumber shrinkage and settlement at widows, doors and dissimilar materials.

  • Metal flashings have minimum overlap at seams and are sealed.

  • All flashings are positively pitched away from the building.

  • Decks are flashed per plans and specs. (Includes ice and water).

  • HVAC units are flashed properly.

  • Manufacturer's Rep has conducted or is scheduled to perform an Inspection of installation.

  • Is the crew Foreman the same Foreman who started the job? If "no" - Foreman needs to be trained regarding information covered in Siding Pre-Installation Meeting<br>

  • 5 or more photos have been submitted with this report.
