  • Daily Sign-in/Sign-out required at CM office. Hardhat sticker will be issued upon completion of this orientation and training sheet. Sticker must be displayed on your HH while on the jobsite

  • Radios (boom boxes) are not permitted on site

  • Per Illinois Statute, Chicago Public Schools, and the Public Building Commission of Chicago, smoking is strictly prohibited! There is absolutely NO SMOKING on the job site!

  • Parking – No parking in the job site. All workers are to use street parking on surrounding streets

  • Be courteous of the neighborhood when arriving and leaving from site

  • Keep street clean from debris and garbage. Please clean up after yourselves

  • Food – Please clean up after yourselves

  • Portable toilets – Are being provided and are the only facilities to be used on the job site. Female workers will have access to a locked port-a-john. See CM office for the combination

  • Hot work permit is required for all welding, torching, and open flame work. A One (1) hour fire watch is required after work is completed. Notify CM prior to proceeding with any hot work

  • Daily clean up – Each individual trade is required to clean up your area at the end of each work day

  • Secure the building- Each individual trade is responsible for closing all windows and doors once you have completed working in the area or accepting a delivery

  • Please schedule with CM, at least 24 hours in advance of any excavation, crane picks, or large deliveries

  • All Crane picks require a lift plan, pre-approved by the CM

  • Asbestos containing material is present in the existing building. A permit will be required from the CM before any drilling or coring activities in the existing building. A lead and ACM report is available for review in the CM office
