Preventative Testing & Maintenance (DC Components)

  • Verify system signage is in place

  • Confirm electrical enclosures and combiner boxes/string inverter as secure, weather protected, and free of corrosion

Preventative Testing & Maintenance (DAS/SCADA)

  • Monitoring system maintenance in accordance with manufacturers specifications

  • Verify orientation and attachment of pyranometers and module temperature sensors and MET station and verify back up power supply functionality

  • Repair equipment enclosures as necessary

  • Performance of as-found tests

  • Clean pyranometer domes with a soft cloth

Test MET station sensors:

  • GHI and POA pyranometers

  • Verify that back-of-module temperature sensors are correctly installed and are in good thermal contact with modules

  • Conduct aerial thermal audits and upload results

  • Conduct thermal imaging of overcurrent protection devices and bolted electrical connections including terminations in combiners and all disconnects, inverters, and transformers in accordance with OEM recommendations/requirements
