General Operations

  • Unlock changing rooms, sports hall, gymnasium (when supervised only) and fitness suit

  • Switch on lighting and ensure all lighting and emergency lighting is satisfactory?

  • Ensure cleaning cupboard door is locked?

  • Are all fire doors, fire exits and routes to the assembly point free from obstruction?

  • Ensure all evacuation cards are in place. Fitness suit, Kitchen and Reception.

  • Are all areas clean and ready to open the centre?

  • Complete external check of the building and pathways inc. bike rack

  • Do all staff comply with company uniform regulations and are they wearing a name badge?

  • Ensure notice boards are up to date

  • Check customer comment box and action.

  • Are staffing levels correct?

  • Are all soft furnishings through out the centre fit for use? Including office chairs

  • Has a posting been put on Facebook?

  • Is all equipment fit for purpose?

Reception

  • Computer switched on and ezrunner loaded

  • Are there any faults with Ezrunner? If so report faults.

  • Reset Reacom alarm panel from "walk mode"

  • Check float £60?

  • A-frame out with updated information

  • Open glass hatch

  • Check reception log book and diary

  • Has the fire alarm panel been checked and is fully operational? (Report any faults)

  • Check Managers mobile phone charged and on

  • Is the evacuation box in place?

  • Has a safe check been completed?

  • Switch on out side lighting - PM

  • Set Reacom alarm panel to "walk mode" - PM

Squash Court

  • Check for any damage and any leaks or waters spillages.

Changing Rooms (near squash court)

  • Ensure clean and tidy

  • Remove lost property, bag up and place in PE office (term time only)

  • Remove lost property and log in reception (weekends and holidays)

  • Are showers, sinks and toilets in full working order?

  • Flush male showers (2) for 30 seconds

  • Flush female showers (2) for 30 seconds

  • Flush disabled shower (1) for 30 seconds

  • Ensure baby changer in disable change has safety signage and in correct working order?

  • Check disabled alarm is operational?

Main Hall

  • Check flooring for any damage and any leaks or water spillages.

  • Any left out equipment needs to be put away and reported the Operations Manager.

  • Store cupboards locked?

  • Equipment stored as per store plans?

  • Ensure all equipment stored away as per store plan. - PM

Party Room

  • Any left out equipment needs to be put away and reported the Operations Manager.

  • Area clean and tidy ready to be used.

Gym

  • Switch on all equipment that requires power

  • Switch on TV and put on to channel 715.

  • Has the aircon been turned on and is it working?

  • Is all equipment stored correctly?

  • Switch off all electrical items - PM<br>

  • Has the aircon been turned off - PM

Balcony

  • Any left out equipment needs to be put away and reported the Operations Manager.

  • Area clean and tidy ready to be used.

  • Tables and chairs unstacked and ready to be used.

Kitchen and Bar

  • Switch on computer and load ezrunner.

  • Are there any faults with Ezrunner? If so report faults.

  • Check float of £40

  • Has the kitchen been left in a clean and tidy condition?

  • Temperature checks for fridge 1

  • Temperature checks for fridge 2

  • Temperature checks for freezer 1

  • Temperature checks for freezer 2

  • Comment regarding fridge/ freezer check

  • Is the external kitchen door locked - PM

  • Has all kitchen equipment been turned off? - PM

  • Ensure hot water urn is switched off - PM

Changing Rooms (male near gymnasium and first floor ladies)

  • Ensure clean and tidy

  • Remove lost property, bag up and place in PE office (term time only)

  • Remove lost property and log in reception (weekends and holidays)

  • Are showers, sinks and toilets in full working order?

  • Flush male showers (5) for 30 seconds

  • Flush female showers (5) for 30 seconds

Gymnasium

  • Door to gymnasium locked at all times unless supervised or in use

  • Check flooring for any damage and any leaks or waters spillages.

  • Any left out equipment needs to be put away and reported to the Operations Manager.

  • Store cupboards locked?

  • Equipment stored as per store plans?

  • Ensure all equipment stored away as per store plan. - PM

Outside areas

  • Check nets on tennis court?

  • Check fencing to tennis courts.

  • Check football pitches and goals are fit for purpose (weekends only)

  • Are 7-a-side goals locked and secured together?
