General Requirements

  • Are welding and cutting operations restricted to authorized employees?

  • Are O2 tanks and fuels tanks store at least 20' apart or have a 5' fire wall between them?

  • While being stored do they have the valve covers on?

  • Are the regulators compatible with cylinders?

  • Cylinder carts used in transport?

  • Are empties properly stored and returned?

Training

  • Are workers trained in use of welders torches and other equipment?

  • Are employees trained in hot work procedures?

  • Are employees trained in PPE?

  • Is confined space training provided?
