SafeSpan Inspection Checklist

Check all decking for loose sheets & use self tapping screws to secure overlaps

Check all decking for missing or loose clips

Check all post bracket nuts and bolts for tension

Check all main cables clips are 5/8" & make sure they are tightened

Check all shackle plates for loose nuts and bolts

Check all tie-ups to ensure they are equally tensioned and the platform is level

Check all rigid tie-up assembly connections. Ensure all nuts & jamb nuts are installed appropriately

Check all rigid tie-up connections to existing steel & cable/decking ensuring all attachments are secure

Check all beam flange clamp hangers for secure attachment

Check all perimeter railing posts for stability

Check all perimeter 1/4" cable for tension (top rail shall not deflect below 39" above deck)

Check all perimeter cable for 1/4" cable clamps

Check all perimeter posts for caps

Check platform for remaining parts and debris

Check all connections with conformance with the plans
