  • Computerised turnstile monitoring systems functioning

  • No accumulation of combustible waste or litter on concourses / in vomitories

  • Waste bins are secure

  • Hazardous materials (e.g. Gas canisters) have been removed or safely stored, away from public areas

  • Fire extinguishers are in position and in good order

  • Areas to which public are prohibited are locked or sealed off

  • Accessible items which may be used as missiles are removed

  • Directional signage in place and, where appropriate, illuminated

  • Temporary signs and fittings are secure and in appropriate positions

  • Means to remove or breach and fence, advertising material or other obstruction which may impede exit in an emergency are in place (e.g. Pitch perimeter LEDs exit gates)

  • Temporary equipment installed on the day is working satisfactorily before the event commences (e.g. Tower lights, generators)

During event

  • Litter & waste not accumulating

  • Material not stored in circulation, exit or escape routes

  • All gangways, exits, emergency exits and escape routes kept clear

After event

  • Seats, barriers & stairways free from signs of damage or deformation
