Wireless Checklist

  • Is there line of sight to one of our network sites?

  • Take a photo of the line of sight

  • Identify where our antenna will need to be installed to get line of sight

  • Take a photo of the installation position

  • Is landlord approval required for the installation or not?

  • Confirm if there are any body corporate rules as to visibility of our equipment

  • Record coordinates of installation position
  • Confirm the speed / capacity required

  • Does the customer have existing lan / wifi? Do they want to change to our lan equipment? (If not, explain where our responsibility will end)

  • If they do want our lan, how many AP's would be required?

  • Provide a floorplan sketch to validate suggested AP quantity

  • Confirm all areas where customer requires coverage e.g., Braai area, garage, pool area, workshop, etc.

  • Is only a breakout link required or are there other buildings to be connected?

  • If there are other buildings, record coordinates and names of all buildings
  • Is there line of sight between the buildings?

  • If not, discuss the option of a private fiber network

Fibre Checklist

  • Confirm a suitable date and time for survey if fibre network required

Hosting service checklist

  • 3CX Cloud Hosting?

  • 3CX annual license?

  • Porta hosted extensions?

  • Hosted Call Recording - call cabinet (for encrypted recording)?

  • 3CX mobile app required

  • Handsets required? Quantity?

  • Ensure you have completed the PBX facilities / features tab in detail

  • Complete the Features and Facilities module

Firewall Checlist

  • Is the customers network being abused?

  • What sites need to be blocked?

  • What applications or social media needs to be blocked?
