Trades and Service Providers

  • Are new trades or service providers expected onsite in the next 7 days?

  • Confirm the subcontractors workers have completed the Strongbuild Online Safety Induction

  • The subcontractor must submit a SWMS for Strongbuild review before work commences. Contact the subcontractor immediately.

Mobile Plant

  • Is new plant due onsite in the next 7 days?

  • Have you received a copy of the subcontractors Plant and Operators Register?

  • The subcontractor must provide a Plant and Operator Register before work commences. Contact the subcontractor immediately.

Scaffold

  • Is there scaffold onsite over 4 metres in height?

  • Has the scaffold been inspected at a maximum of 30 day intervals by a person with the appropriate High Risk Work Licence?

  • Scaffolding over 4 metres in height must be inspected at a maximum of 30 day intervals. Contact the scaffolder immediately.

  • Does the scaffold have a "scaff tag" with the current date range displayed?

  • The date on the "scaff tag" is evidence the scaffold has been inspected and is suitable for use. Contact the scaffolder immediately.

Site Activities

  • Will there be any site activities that will impact on multiple trades in the next 7 days?

  • Has a Toolbox Talk been conducted been conducted to notify site workers of the impact and any temporary no-go zones or other isolation controls that will be implemented?

  • Upload a copy of the Toolbox Talk

  • Conduct a site Toolbox Talk and discuss the upcoming work and the impact it will have on the site or particular work zones and the workers.

Injuries and Incidents

  • Has there been any Medical Treatment Injuries or Notifiable Incidents onsite in the past 7 days?

  • Has the extent of injuries, the cause and immediate impact on the worker(s) and implemented control measures been discussed during a Toolbox Talk?

  • Upload a copy of the Toolbox Talk

  • Conduct a Toolbox Talk and provide a factual account of the injury or incident. Discuss any new procedure that has been implemented as a result of the injury or incident.

  • Has the Project Risk Register been reviewed and updated (if necessary) to reflect the injury or incident?

  • The Project Risk Register must be maintained as a "Live Document". Review and update the Project Risk Register.
