  • Contact vendors to ensure they are ready for arrival. Provide ETAs, tail numbers, review expectations.

  • Call ahead to notify vendors of arrival.

  • Check with AOC for a briefing of unusual issues.

Upon arriving to charter destination:

  • Before deplaning, obtain exit seats from FA staff.

  • Obtain preliminary load plan from crew, provide loading direction to ramp agents. Load bin 2 first, then 3.

  • Direct ramp staff to retrieve a Sun Country sizer box from the cargo department, and place planeside for compliance with Sun Sun Country's Carry-On Baggage Program.

  • Provide load plan to ramp and direct them to maintain piece count by zone. Ensure ramp area readied for boarding. No smoking, remember safety escorts.

Prior to departure from charter destination:

  • Verify minimum crew is present prior to boarding.

  • Proceed to the gate to monitor the selection and verification of passengers assigned to exit seating before boarding. Provide exit handouts to passengers.

  • Observe boarding of first class and exit row passengers.

  • Commence general boarding.

  • Monitor carry-on compliance as passengers board.

10 minutes prior to departure:

  • Ensure security issues are addressed and required passenger service forms are completed. Check with AOC for inhibited/screened passengers.

  • Monitor completion of Sun Country Load Sheet and provide to crew.

  • Ensure sizer box is returned to cargo compartment for next operation.

  • All cargo nets secured and cargo doors closed.

  • Usually power out departures. Ensure briefing is conducted between groan and crew. If pushback required, bypass pin installed and tow bar connected.

  • Fax manifest to AOC. Keep copy for aircraft.

  • When possible, submit rep report.
