School Loss Control Inspections

Are classroom walking area in classrooms clear of book sacks, books, teaching materials, electrical chords, teaching material and other trip hazards?

Are teachers wearing low, flat, closed heal footwear that is safe for the environment

Has safety meeting been completed for all employees?

Are bulletin boards or items displayed at a level which allows teachers to reach items without standing on chairs or other makeshift items?

Are slip/trip/fall hazards in the kitchen/lunchroom observed?

Has there been recent, documented training on " How teachers should handle students that act out".<br>

Are dumpsters set up to allow loading from the side to in order to reduce back injuries?

Are procedures in place to reduce injury for employees assigned with emptying trash containers?<br>
