  • Are the rollers for edge protection, roller skates for in trench to protect the cable when being pulled?

  • Do we have safe access and egress in to and out the excavation?

  • Is the permit number clearly visible for visiting auditors or local enforcement council inspectors.

  • Is there a Heras fencing gate into the works, If so is this locked to prevent non-authorised from accessing the site.

  • Are any barriers missing securing safety clips to secure the chapter 8 fencing to eachbother and making a secure site?

  • Is there a safe walkway for safe passing past the works if we have footway closed and TM in place for pedestrians to bypass the works?

  • Has all materials been removed from site over night?

  • Do we require any extra protection if there is cables in ground which have not been jointed?
