WARNING!
1) Pre-Service Safety Meeting MUST be completed prior to beginning the job and repeated for new arrivals.
2) Circuits and equipment that are to be tested MUST be identified using single-line diagrams, equipment nameplates and visual inspections.
3) All Persons who will work on the de-energized equipment MUST apply locks and tags.
4) Personal Protective equipment MUST be used as required.
5) Based on work location, maintain appropriate approach distances and wear appropriate shack and flash protection. Minimum approach distance tables for shock protection are found in the SE425 Electrical Safe Work Practices. Flash protection boundary MUST be determined for all work locations where they are exposed, energized conductors. Working distance, which is used to determine appropriate PPE for flash protection, MUST be maintained during the work task. -

APPLICATION PRECAUTIONS!
1) Obtain all applicable customer-specific work permits as required.
2) On job sites where there is more than one device/apparatus to be serviced, all device/apparatus that NOT
falling hazards, etc.
3) Be aware of slipping hazards, falling hazards, tripping hazards, fall-into hazards, fall-from hazards, overhead
4) Ensure the apparatus under test is completely isolated from other pieces of equipment in the immediate area.
5) Voltage testing can cause arcing, which may ignite dust or gas. Be aware of explosive environments.
6) Ensure all temporary jumpers and grounds are removed prior to re-energization.
