  • Is there excessive storage of combustible materials?

  • Do smoke detectors or fire alarm heads appear fully operational with no evidence of being tampered with?

  • Are access and egress routes clear from any obstructions and fire doors kept closed?

  • Are fire doors in good condition? E.g all three hinges fully attached, no holes through door, intumescent strip present all around sides and top of frame, frame secure.
