  • Customer handover plan cascaded to the team.

  • Capture photos from Sunday meeting.

Tuesday activity (-2 days to opening).

  • Delivery unpacked and checked off.

  • Delivery discrepancies raised.

  • Secure cabinet installed.

  • Handsets placed in secure cabinet in MSC order.

  • POS pack received and checked off. Any missing POS ordered.

  • Accessories sorted into totes in category type to support merchandising slat walls.

  • Furniture and slat walls installed.

  • All demo handsets merchandised.

  • All PIE terminals fully functioning (check chip&pin, printer, paperless, scanners).

  • Test and confirm telephone lines working.

  • Safe installed with managers access set-up.

  • Kronos installed with all colleagues enrolled.

  • WPIE network set up, Pin Point tablets connected and tested (Password: Fruta6Wuqapaswl9).

  • End of day floor walk completed to capture any snags (record in MRL report).

Wednesday activity (-1 day to opening).

  • Accessories slat walls complete to plan - pegs locked in place, priced, equally spaced, uniform edges, pulled forward with stock limiters.

  • All demo devices powered up, activated (if iPhone) and displaying demo content.

  • Ensure demo devices are NOT connected to WiFi networks ('forget all networks') and screen handsets for unsuitable content.

  • FSDU locations reviewed to ensure optimum customer flow.

  • Store dressed for opening using engagement pack.

  • All till pods full merchandised for trade.

  • Till floats in place.

  • Bookmarks set-up on terminals - E.g. CPWTouch, GSM Arena, FMiP checker etc.

  • Cupboards under easels stocked with SIM cards, collateral.

  • Content for tomorrow's launch briefing prepared.

  • Role play zoning positions, greet and customer handover scenarios.

  • Managers office set-up - store plan, team charter, performance trackers and filing in place.

  • End of day floor walk completed to capture any snags (record in MRL report).

FINAL STORE SIGN OFF (THURSDAY AM).

  • All construction (power, data, fixtures) completed to plan.

  • Any damage to furniture, walls, skirting, poor decoration etc logged on MRL report (capture photos).

  • All signage (interior and exterior) installed.

  • All live products fully functioning (including digital screens, posters).

  • All products ticketed correctly.

  • Manufacturer bays completed to plan.

  • Surplus fixtures, POS, cardboard uplifted or disposed of correctly.

  • Store cleaning completed to standard.

Thursday - Store opening.

  • Final store walk completed - ensure ALL remaining snags are captured on MRL report.

  • External collateral in place - E.g. bollard covers, poster.

  • Morning briefing completed - clear targets and expectations set for the day.

  • Capture photos of store opening, including ribbon cutting.

Post Opening

Snag completion (+1 week).

  • All snags completed (any outstanding snags escalate to Transformation Manager).

Post opening review.

  • Overview first weeks trade:

  • Review and learnings around Zoning Plan.

  • Review and learnings around Greet plan.

  • Review and learnings around Handover plan.
