  • Agoge does not have day to day control of our clients' sites, therefore the purpose of this document is to have an indication of the Health and Safety practices on this site, which may influence the way we conduct business or induct our staff.

General Health and Safety

Site compliance

  • Floors around racking, entry, walkways and intersections clear of rubbish or obstructions?

  • Pedestrian walkways adequate and clearly marked, with barriers in place (where needed)?

  • Non-pedestrian areas adequate and clearly marked, and mirrors in place for busy corners?

  • Are gas bottles secured?

  • No damaged hand tools, power tools or equipment/plant in use?

  • Are fall preventive measures in place and in good condition and used where gaps occur in railings?

Emergency procedures and evaluation

  • Do kits/cabinets include product/equipment that will aid in emergencies relevant to the site (burns, electrical, cuts, hazardous materials, eye washes etc) and are they clean and kept up to date?

  • Evacuation plan up to date, displayed and understood by employees? (along with emergency numbers)

  • Extinguishers up to date, in place, clearly marked for type of fire and clear of obstruction?

  • Fire alarm system functioning correctly and checked at least twice a year?

  • Exit doors marked clearly and easily opened from inside, and clear of obstruction?
