Has the site remained the same in the last 8 weeks? (if there are changes to the site please type no and provide more details.)

Can the staff carry out their duties safely with the changes?
If no then Wettons H&S must be notified immediately.

Is there all the necessary working facilities available to use.

2. Documents

Is all COSHH assessments for all chemicals held on site available?

Are Risk Assessments and Method Statements available on site for all tasks undertaken and in date? (In date means reviewed in the last 12 months)

Is there an accident book on site?

Is the H&S Law Poster displayed?

Is Wettons H&S policy in date and displayed? (In date means reviewed within the last 12 months)

Is the Wettons Employers Insurance Certificate in Date and displayed?

Is the site notice board up to date and are old notices being filed in the folder provided?

3. First Aid at Work

Are first aid boxes available?

Are the contents of the first aid boxes as per the recommended list or is the first aid box sealed?

4. Storage

Is the store kept clean and tidy?

Is all machinery stored properly i. e. Vacuums in backpacks?

Are all chemicals stored properly?

Is there PPE available for all tasks on site and for all staff undertaking the tasks?

Is there spare PPE available on site?

5. Machinery

Does all machinery have a current PAT test label?

Is all machinery fit for purpose?

6. Staff Training

Have all new staff received a site induction for the site they are working at?

Is the latest staff training matrix on site available for all staff to review?

Do all members of staff on site have up to date training records on the training matrix?

7. Permit to Work

Have you reviewed the "Permit to Work" file for exterior train cleaning?

8. NTBMB

Are there sufficient NTBMBs available?

Are all NTBMBs in good working order and working?

9. Site conditions

Are all walkways clear of rubbish and in good repair?

Are all trackside areas clear of rubbish?

Are all 4 foot areas clear of rubbish?

Have Wettons and SER H&S teams been notified on all new hazards identified on site?
