Site Safety Audit

1. Safe Acces to and from site?

2. Correct signs and barriers installed?

3. All site paperwork present on site and all correct for the job?

4. Site induction given and understood?

Method statement being adhered to?

6. Correct PPE being worn when on site and undertaking duties?

7. All tools correct for the job with up to date certification present?

8. Correct symology and permit displayed if applicable?

9. First aid kit present on site and complete?

10. Fire extinguisher present on site?

11. Spill kit present on site?

Eye wash in site vechicle?

13. Coshh assessments on site?

14. All services identified on site and marked up?

15. Correct and up to date utility drawings on site?

16. Is there evidence that CAT/Genny has been calibrated, maintained and used on site by a competent person?

17. Are excavations appropriately shored and or battered off and fenced of required?

18. Has all hired plant been checked and signed for? Is there operator competent and trained with certification?

19. Is the lifting equipment marked SWL on good condition and tested?

20. Is the machine being used the correct one for the task being undertaken and are all testing certificates within in date?

21. Are waste receptacles fit for purpose?

22. Is the waste correctly segregated and stored properly away from works?

23. Is the spill kit accessible and correctly stored on site?

24. Are surface water drains protected from run off and spills from site?

25. Is fall protection in place?

26. Has claiming equipment been inspected and tested?

27. Is any temporary access equipment in good order and are tags visible and in date?

28. Have all hazards been identified and protected e.g. skylights, flues, fragile roof surfaces, trip hazards etc?

29. Is the MEWP operator qualified and competent?

30. Have exclusion zones been identified and non essential personnel / public excluded?
