Site Documentation

  • Is the site file present in the correct format<br>

  • Are the correct and applicable RAMS included?

  • Are the site manager certificates included?

  • Are the correct tickets included in the file such as PASMA, IPAF and First Aid

  • Are all COSHH data sheets present?

  • Is the site attendance register accurate for the personnel working on the site on either day or night shifts? Have they signed out as well?

Site Set Up

  • Is the site board up?

  • Is the fire station and set up and is it maintained in good order? Check fire extinguishers, test bell, fire bucket, and first aid kit

  • Is the accident book on site and locked away?

  • Is the fire evacuation notice present and completed?

  • Is the hospital map on the board and visible?

  • Is there adequate writing materials to maintain a good site office?

  • Is there a permit to work in process?

  • Is there good segregation of the public from the site works?

  • Are 'work in progress' signs up and clearly situated to the public?

  • Are PPE signs set up?

  • Are key contact signs (project directory) installed?

  • Are any closed areas clearly sign posted?

  • Are skips fenced off with correct warning signs securely attached?

Equipment

  • Are all scaffolds tagged and inspection records up to date?

  • Do all ladders have inspection tickets attached?

  • Have all portable tools got current six month PAT test stickers on?

  • Has all MEWP been inspected and inspection records kept In site file?

  • Have all grinding and cutting equipment got the correct guards on and in good working order?

  • Is all cabled equipment 110 volt (if not remove from site immediately)?

Project Personalnel

  • Was a spot check of personnel CSCS cards carried out?

  • Was anyone without CSCS cars who was checked?

  • Was moral high?

  • Were staff aware of the project plan (discuss with personnel there understanding of programme)?
