  • Does team have all required PPEs to complete this Job safely?

  • Are all workers are trained and experienced to carry out the job?

  • Are there sufficient arrangements to avoid sharp injuries? Safety Gloves, PPEs.

  • Is there NRSWA Trained Person in team?

  • Is team is fully equipped with required tools?

  • Is there adequate lighting on site whilst operatives are working?

  • Is there working/calibrated CAT and Genny available on site to ensure safe digging?

  • Does team have enough barriers, gate guards/ cones and chapter signs, trench covers & kerb Ramps to perform activity safely?

  • Have you checked site specific permit requirements?

  • Have you checked for any critical infrastructure adjacent to site? (Hospital, Fuel station, school, chemical depot, railway track etc)

  • Is there first aid box, qualified first aider available to deal with emergency?

  • Do you have portable fire extinguisher with normal pressure available on site?

  • Do you have spill arrangements in place?

  • Is Working GDU available for Hazardous gas testing ?

  • Are there sufficient arrangements in place to ensure workers safety? Extreme weather, hazardous gases , fumes and dust, noise above acceptable limit?

  • Are there SDS (Safety Data Sheets available on site) ? Fuel, fibre cleaning chemical ?

  • Have you checked for emergency response facilities nearby? (Hospital).

  • Have you taken members of public/ road user safety into account?
