  • Stock management is a vital part of being able to deliver great customer service. Good Stock Smart discipline gives us the ability to invest in our future and grow as a company. It is imperative that we all adhere to the StockSmart process on each and every visit.
Order: Only order what stock you require, when you require it. DO NOT over order.
Receipt: Accurately receipt ALL stock on the day of collection whilst at your stock location. Any missing items MUST be reported to UTL, whilst you are receipting your stock.
Issue: All items MUST be issued during each customer visit. This will provide visibility and transparency for an accurate stock holding held on your device. STB compliance (like for like) MUST be followed at all times. This will enable us to continue delivery of world class customer service whilst reducing our costs, meaning we can invest in our future.
Uplift: During every visit and when conducting an STB swap out, every STB MUST be uplifted and an ERL generated. This will provide visibility of ALL faults throughout the return process. We should be offering our customers a Recycle/Gifting service for ALL Unwanted and unused Sky equipment.
Returns: All returned stock MUST be returned within 7 days from uplift. However, it is good practice and preferred, to ensure any returned stock is sent back within 48hours from uplift. Furthermore, on your last day of working, ALL faulty stock MUST be returned to UTL prior to you proceeding on your days off/holiday.
All items returned MUST have a yellow return tracking label. This will ensure we have complete visibility of every item returned to UTL.
See the enclosed examples of the correct placement of the returns labels:

  • Waste:
Ensure ALL waste generated during our customer visits is collected, bagged up and returned to UTL at all times.
We are extremely proud of the amount of waste that is currently being re-cycled. This is great for the environment, and also generates income that is re-invested back into Sky. We currently re-cycle 100% of all returned waste, which is a fantastic achievement and something we want to build upon.
    In Summary
    • We MUST follow StockSmart 2.3v at ALL times.
    • STB Compliance must be adhered to at ALL times following the ‘like for like’ process.
