Check supply air stream for presence of combustion gasses using a combustion gas analyzer

Inspect combustion air or induced draft fan and clean and lubricate if required

Verify operation of combustion air flow proving device (Vacuum, manifold or pitot)

Verify operation of flame detection device (thermocouple, thermopile, bi-metal)

Verify operation of high limit and rollout switches

Lubricate fan motor if applicable

Verify proper operation of temperature control, pilot, high temperature and fan safety devices

Inspect all wiring connections for tightness, signs of overheating, discoloration or compromised insulation

Verify fan cleanliness; inspect wheel, shaft and cage for wear and clearance

Check sheaves and pulleys for wear and alignment

Replace Belt and tension properly

Check operation of damper mechanism ensure it moves freely and closes fully

Reset damper, lubricate damper track and replace fusible link
