Health and Safety on site

  • Health and Safety on site
    The use of hard hats and high visibility slips on site will be issued for use in the defined work areas. All operatives will be in possession of overalls, safety glasses and gloves. Correct footwear will be worn at all times. (toetectors) All site operatives will attend a site safety induction prior to commencing op-erations held by the Reasonable person/person’s. All equipment to be used will conform to current legislation and be PAT test-ed.
    Operatives will be competent in the use of all equipment.The site Reasonable person/person’s will be our nominated safety repre-sentative and will liase with the health and safety manger Rui Martins on all matters concerning safe working conditions and practices.
    When rubbing down operatives will use dust masks. Any method statement and associated risk assessments will be provided. All operatives will receive regular tool box talks. Each week there will be a site meeting to discuss any issues that may arise.
