Inverter Inspection

  • Correct Number Of Strings Installed

  • Strings input into MPPT trackers as per design specification

  • Inverter end MC4.EVO2 connections in good condition-clean of mud and debris/connectors are tight with no cross threading

  • String cables are labelled correctly at inverter-string names and polarity correctly labelled. Labels are installed with 2 cable ties.

  • String cables are properly supported and dressed onto cable tray as per Ethical Power specification

  • String cables are protected when in contact with sharp edges-strings should be placed in split conduit or edges covered with rubber protection.

  • String ducting has been installed as per Ethical power specification-Ducting should be correctly secured to the structure, free of damage, not overfilled.

  • String ducting has been sealed as per ethical power specification.

  • All Cables dressed with acceptable bending radius

  • MC4.EVO2 connectors torqued within acceptable range 3.5-4Nm

DC Stringing at table

  • Appropriate string configuration has been used for table type-"Leap frog" or "daisy chain" where appropriate.

  • String cable is clean and free from obvious damage to sheathing.

  • String cable dressed and secured as per Ethical Power specification.

  • String cable placed in split conduit between tables

  • String cable placed in split conduit in areas exposed to direct UV

  • String cables are protected when in contact with "sharp edges"-strings should be placed in split conduit r edges covered with rubber protection.

  • String ends correctly labelled-String names and polarity correctly labelled. Labels are installed correctly with 2 cable ties.

  • QC4 connections in good condition-Clean and free from mud and debris. QC4 connectors are tight with no cross threading.

  • QC4 connectors dressed so that they are not laid in the bottom of the bottom of the "C profile" exposed to water.

  • All cables dressed with acceptable bending radius

  • QC4 connectors torqued within acceptable range 3.5-4Nm
