3. ELECTRICITY AT WORK REGULATION 1989

  • Regulation 4: Are systems, work activities and protective equipment constructed and maintained to prevent danger?

  • Are there yearly routine checks and 5 yearly periodic inspections and testing?<br>(Please note the following have shorter time spans as identified in IEE guidance note 3 inspection and testing education establishments, industrial units, cinemas, leisure complexes, places of public entertainment, theatres).

  • Regulation 15: Are there adequate workspace, access and egress and sufficient lighting to carry out the electrical works safely in the area?
