Transfer UPS from "Online satus" to "Bypass mode" towards "off" status

Note!
In Bypass mode, the critical load is not protected from commercial power interruptions and abnormalities.
Mains input is located in LV-North Gr. K4 (4 pole 160A breaker).
To transfer the critical load to bypass mode, peform the following procedure:

Step 1. Press the controls pushbutton on the main menu bar, the system control screen appears

Step 2. Press the "Bypass" pushbutton on the system controls menu bar.<br>

The ups switches to Bypass mode and the critical load is immediately supplied by the bypass source.
If the bypass source is not available, the power processor remains on and an alarm sounds. -
The ups is now operating in the "Bypass mode" and the bypass status indicator is illuminated.
The power module (PM) status indicates READY.
System is now on bypass and ups power processor remains on. -
Step 3. Maintenance bypass "S3" on the ups can now be switched to the "ON" status

Step 4. "External bypass switch" in external cabinet next to ups can now be switched towards the "Bypass" position.

In this stage the complete ups can be changed (If needed) without load-drop.

Step 7. Static bypass input switch "S2" can be switched towards the "OFF" position.

Step 8. Output switch "S4" can be switched towards the "OFF" position.

Note: Only certified personnel can be change the complete ups and battery cabinet if necessary.
To Transfer ups from "OFF" status to "Bypass mode" towards "Online mode" perform the following procedure:

Step 1. Close the bypass input circuit breaker "S2"

Step 2. Close the output breaker "S4"

Observe the ups control panel display screen becoming active as an indication of logic power.

Observe the following messages apear sequentailly on the power module (PM) status line:
-
- DC Starting
When DC ramping is finished the ups will tell you to close the battery breaker in the battery cabinet.
First switch battery breaker into "OFF" position after that switch battery breaker towards the "ON" position.
- Inverter starting
- READY -
Step 3. Press the "CONTROL" pushbutton on the main menu bar

The system control screen appears.

Step 4. Press the "BYPASS" pushbutton on the system controls menu bar.

The ups is now operating in the bypass mode and the bypass indicator is illuminated.

Step 5. The "External bypass" switch in the external cabinet next to the ups can now be switched towards the "NORMAL" position

Step 6. Maintenance bypass "S3" on the ups can now be switched to the "OFF" position.

Step 7. Press the control pushbutton on the main menu bar.

The system control screen appears

Step 8. Press the "Go to online" pushbutton on the system controls menu bar.

The ups switches the static bypass off, indicator will go dark and "Online" indicator will be illuminated.
