  • Handover with Night Team and Read previous shift reports

  • Note down any items that need to be actioned during shift

  • Ensure that music is playing on all levels, and at a suitable volume

  • Walk around hostel common areas and make sure property is presentable. Always Carry Two-Way Radio

  • Turn on co-working space lights if required

  • Check Cinema Room. Open Curtains and turn off Sound System and Projector if on

  • Check the checkout list on Mews for balances and investigate if required

  • Advise the Housekeeping Team of any morning extensions

  • Check Group folder for Group Arrivals

  • Check all room allocations and ensure that new guests are allocated to appropriate rooms. Check Notes on reservations

  • Reservation Timeline Management. Tetris bookings

  • Check Mews for guests who have yet to check out. Prepare the late check-out list

  • Door knock remaining late check outs. Always Carry Two-Way Radio

  • Action SYDC inbox emails & Mews messages throughout shift

  • Action any OTA guest messages. Login details found through LastPass

  • Tidy Staff Kitchen. Put away dishes from dishwasher/turn on if required

  • Staff breaks. Always 2 team members on reception at all times if possible.

  • Check with HSK Supervisor to ensure all clean beds are Inspected in Mews prior to 2pm

  • Tidy up workstations

  • Handover with PM Shift Manager/Team. Share feedback and brief on Important Issues
