Whilst we endeavour to identify every breach and defect,
we cannot guarantee there are no further breaches we have
missed, or that a breach is located too close to a conductive
item or obscured by materials or debris on the surface of the
membrane.
Electronic leak detection: If a waterproofing membrane and
substrate are continuous, they may act as electrical insulators
and conductors, respectively. Any breach in the waterproofing
membrane will act as a conductor for any electrical current to
flow to the substrate (electronic earth). the testing will not find
breaches within a nominal 70mm of electrically conductive
