  • Discuss new memo format and the importance of actioning all points even if the managers don't believe it's worth while. This is non negotiable.

  • Thorough check of OH&S within the store. Not only maintenance issues but also manual handing procedures etc.

  • Check and discuss managers rosters and their order delivery schedule.

  • Blind orders and Purchase Orders. Show managers how to do both.

  • Reduction of stock levels. Discuss with managers about overstocks and action in store, (Transfers-Mark downs)

  • TWE dinner on the 30th October. Make sure managers are handing out invitations and encourage managers to attend.

  • Check Jim Beam 5 for $20 POS is displayed up effectively.

  • POS sent for suppliers and head office. Need to make sure managers are displaying well and if POS isn't good enough need to react.

  • Check store for old POS and discuss with the managers about procedures for making sure this is removed.

  • Shared change draws. Front end supervisors are accountable so we must go to them to ask for monies, even if we have a key.

  • Check seals must be on all items. Please check and ask for receipt if no check seal is visible.

  • Follow up on performance reviews

  • Discuss stands in store. Tell managers that they are not required to accept any stands if not previously advised in the memo. If they have a rep pushing the point tell them to call you. Review stands in this store.

  • Review of premium wines and spirits. Also display cases in all areas, spirits, sparkling and wine.
