• • Be aware when driving a forklift especially around pedestrians

• • Do not pick up a load if someone is standing close to it

• • Do not allow people to walk underneath loads

• • Drive with forks lowered to the ground

• • Perform forklift pre-start checks

• • Know the capacity of the forklift and do not exceed that weight

• • The forklift speed limit around the mill is 10kmh (walking speed)

• • When you have a high load restricting your vision drive backwards

• • Always wear your seatbelt

• • Do not park forklifts blocking exits or walkways
