Safe Work Practices or Procedures

  • Does the exterior of the building present no safety concerns ?

  • Is the parking lot area free of any safety concerns? ( overgrown landscaping, uneven pavement, traffic hazards)

Fire Control and Prevention

  • Fire door closed and free obstruction

  • Fire lanes easily visible and properly labeled

  • Are emergency ( evacuation, fire, bomb threat, hostile person) procedures in place

  • "Exit" and "No Exit" porperly marked, placed in the correct area

  • Check if fire extinguisher is not expired

  • Fire response instruction posted

  • No smoking areas designated and signs posted

  • Fire Extinguisher in good condition at proper height, visible, accessible, securely mounted, marked and tagged

  • Flammables in approved container and stored properly

  • Bus parking area is designed to load and unload passengers safely

HEALTH AND SANITATION
