  • D) Candidate ensures work site is correctly bunted off from others I.e members of the public

  • E) Candidate is equipped with correct additional P.P.E (gloves, safety glasses, ear protection)

Operation

  • 1. Candidate has demonstrated a correct & safe method of trenching, utilising a spotter at all times

  • A) Listens to change of tone in Ground Saw and adjusts throttle/blade depth accordingly

  • B) Adheres to spotters directions

  • C) Follows instructions/guidelines from locator

  • D) Can maintain correct depth

  • 2. Candidate has demonstrated the correct procedure for shutting down

  • A) Idle down

  • B) Raise blade so it is free of obstruction

  • C) Turn off Ground Saw
