Trumpf Laser Machine - Pre Use Checklist

Safe Operation: I have read the Standard Operating Procedure and understand how to safely use the Trumpf Laser Machine.

Correct PPE: Ensure you are wearing the correct PPE before operating the machinery. The correct PPE includes safety boots, dark safety glasses, hi-vis clothing, safety gloves and hearing protection.

Pre Use Check: Ensure workspace and walkways are free of any trip and fall hazards.

Pre Use Check: Ensure the machine is correctly set up for the current voltage.

Pre Use Check: Check for leaks or blockages in the gas lines.

Pre Use Check: Check for any signs of wear or damage to the torch, nozzles, and electrodes.

Pre Use Check: Visually check for any signs of wear, rust, or damage on the machine’s exterior.

Pre Use Check: Ensure the machine frame and structure are stable and in good condition.

Pre Use Check: Check the coolant level and ensure it is at the appropriate concentration. Refill if required.

Pre Use Check: Inspect the laser bed surface for flatness and any signs of damage.

Pre Use Check: Inspect the laser bed for proper alignment and the condition of slats or grids.

Pre Use Check: Verify there is no backlash or excessive play in any of the axes.

Pre Use Check: Verify that all electrical components, including switches, buttons, and lights, are functioning properly.
