  • Can the current weather conditions cause an STF Hazard ?

House Keeping

  • Is the work area tidy & organized ?

  • Has any equipment been placed in such a way to create a stored energy hazard ?

  • Is any equipment lying on the ground creating an STF Hazard ?

Work at Heights

  • Does the current task involve any working at heights ?

  • Are personnel trained in working at heights ?

  • Has all working at heights equipment been inspected and tagged (current) ?

  • Has the correct falls arrest equipment been selected for the job ?

Dropped objects and barricade

  • Is barricade required for this task ?

  • Does the barricade fully encompass the work zone ?

  • Is the barricaded area large enough to allow for any objects dropped from height and rich obey off other objects?

  • Are there information tags on the barricade ?

  • Is the correct information on the barricade tags ?

  • Personnel shall consider hazards in removing temporary fabrication aids etc. and ensure there is adequate protection around openings and penetrations to prevent falling objects.

  • Has the barricade register in the control room been filled out ?

  • If personnel need to keep something in their coveralls/ uniform, zip or stud fastening shall be used to prevent any inadvertently dropped object from their pockets.
